How It All Began...
Dianne Stecklein has been a Physical Therapist since 1993, graduating from the University of Iowa with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. She went on to gain experience in acute care, rehab, home care, and skilled nursing homes over the next 20 years. In 2011, Dianne made the decision to start her own home care business, founding No Place Like Home. There, she could focus on truly taking care of individual people rather than being accountable for productivity and profitability. What started with a single caregiver grew to three employees and eventually to more than thirty employees now. We pride ourselves on hiring quality caregivers and being flexible with company policies so that we can meet each person’s needs.

Our caregivers are committed to providing compassionate, trustworthy, professional service. All of our caregivers are directly employed by No Place Like Home, and they go through:

We are a locally owned business - not a franchise. This allows us the flexibility to customize our services to your needs. Our business is unique in that each care plan is designed to meet your requests, regardless of number of hours or time of day. We have no weekly or hourly minimums. We employ 30 skilled caregivers who are passionate about helping others and do their best to meet the individual needs of each client and their family.
